DANCER: Nana Miki has worked for choreographers such as Noémie Lafrance, Floanne Ankah, Masumi Kishimoto, Asami Morita and Bryon Carr. Her ballet education from Japan in addition to her modern training at the Merce Cunningham studio in New York make her a versatile dancer with a unique sensibility.
CHOREOGRAPHER: Nana Miki has been choreographing her own work, upon arrival in New York City. Her style merges her meticulous technique with a unique peaceful and delicate energy. Latest choegraphies include echO (April 2006), ROOF (Dec 2006). She is one of the original collaborators of Agora II (Sept 2006) as well as Weep (March 2009) with Floanne Ankah at Movement Research at the Judson Church.
